The Method

The Procurio Method

Technology decisions should be systematic — not because organisations need more process, but because they deserve better decisions. The method reduces information asymmetry, increases decision confidence and improves long-term decision quality.

1. Understand the business before the technology

Technology is never the starting point. Business objectives are. Organisations do not buy software — they invest in outcomes.

2. Expand the solution space

A better decision begins with considering better alternatives. Sometimes that is another vendor, sometimes extending an existing platform, sometimes building internally, sometimes waiting.

3. Evaluate through context

Industry, company size, technical maturity, architecture, risk profile, compliance, growth strategy, budget. There are no universally correct answers — only contextually better decisions.

4. Make every recommendation explainable

Why this option? Why not the alternatives? Which assumptions influenced the outcome? If these cannot be answered, the recommendation is incomplete.

5. Measure success beyond implementation

Buying is not success. Implementing is not success. Success means measurable business value, defined as an expectation from the beginning.

6. Continuously revalidate decisions

Technology decisions are snapshots in time. Organisations, markets and technology evolve, so decision making should become continuous rather than project-based.
